The app is designed for diagnostic and configuration purposes and does not collect personal data such as name, email address, or contact information. However, the app processes limited technical data required for its functionality:
Bluetooth Data
The app uses Bluetooth to:
- Scan for nearby Fleximodo parking sensors
- Connect and communicate with these devices
Bluetooth is used strictly for device communication and not for tracking users.
Location Data (GPS)
The app may access device location (GPS coordinates) only in the following cases:
- During the passportization process, to match the mobile device location with installed parking sensors
- On Android devices below version 12, where location permission is required by the operating system to enable Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning
Important:
- Location data is used only during passportization
- Outside of this process, the app doesnot collect or use location data
- Location data isnot used for tracking, analytics, or marketing
Passportization Data
As part of the passportization feature, the app processes:
- Sensor identifiers
- Device-related technical data
- GPS coordinates (only during passportization)
This data is required to correctly register and configure sensors.
Data Usage and Sharing
The collected technical data is:
- Transmitted securely via API to backend infrastructure (IoT Hub)
- Used exclusively for:
- Sensor registration (passportization)
- Device diagnostics
- System configuration
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
Permissions
The app may request the following permissions:
- Camera – to scan QR codes
- Bluetooth – to scan and connect to sensors
- Location (GPS) – required:
- For passportization (GPS matching), and
- On older Android versions for BLE scanning due to system requirements
Platform-specific behavior:
- Android:
- Location permission may be required by the operating system to enable Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning, especially on Android versions below 12
- iOS:
- Location permission is not required for Bluetooth scanning
- Location access is used only during the passportization process
All permissions require user consent and can be revoked at any time.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
