About Fleximodo

What services does Fleximodo offer in smart parking?

We provide an end-to-end smart-parking stack: IoT parking sensors (Standard & Mini), permit/ID cards, guidance signage, parking services such from consultation to full on digitization and cloud software (IoT Hub, City Portal, monitoring, mobile apps) with open integrations (APIs/webhooks). In short: hardware + software + integration support + services.

Where is Fleximodo based?

Fleximodo is developed by GOSPACE in Slovakia (EU), with deployments worldwide.

In which countries is Fleximodo active?

We’re active in 50+ countries and growing, working with global partners and operators.

When did Fleximodo start?

Fleximodo’s roots trace back to 2016 (early “Spot” sensor work) and have evolved continuously within GOSPACE’s IoT R&D.

What makes Fleximodo’s approach unique?

We design hardware and software in-house, leveraging expertise in IoT, miniaturization, long-distance communication, and space-qualified electronics.

Do you support pilots and fast rollouts?

Yes—our Demo-Kit and modular platform enable quick pilots that scale to city deployments using the same devices, cloud, and data model.

Are there notable recognitions or programs you’ve been part of?

Fleximodo has received the European Commission’s Seal of Excellence (2020), was a finalist in the Startup Awards Slovakia, and its smart parking technology has been highlighted within award-winning city accessibility initiatives such as Trikala’s Access City Award 2020; additionally, Fleximodo achieved a significant milestone by joining Deutsche Telekom’s hubraum tech incubator, gaining access to a powerful network of innovators and industry experts that accelerated collaboration and market reach.

What types of customers do you serve?

IT companies, system integrators, cities/municipalities, campuses & hospitals, private operators, enterprises and industrial sites—anywhere real-time bay-level data and identity-based parking improve operations.

Why choose Fleximodo over camera-only systems?

Our IoT parking sensors deliver precise, real-time occupancy (and can pair with permit IDs), work in low-visibility conditions, and complement existing ANPR/CCTV when needed.

How do partners work with Fleximodo?

We collaborate with system integrators and IT infrastructure firms on bids and deployments, offering in-house customization, open APIs, and extra-mile technical support or provide end-to-end parking services to B2B clients. (See our partner info or contact us.)

About Fleximodo Hardware

What is the radio power output of the sensors?

LoRa: 14 dBm. NB-IoT: up to 23 dBm (max)

Can a snowplow be used over the sensors?

Yes—with rubber-edge blades. Metal-edge blades can damage above-surface sensors and shouldn’t be used.

What’s the battery capacity for Standard vs. Mini?

Standard (XL): 13,000 mAh. Mini: 3,600 mAh. Real lifetime depends on traffic, reporting, and network conditions.

What material is the sensor casing made of?

Glass-reinforced polyamide (PA6+GF30) for strength and durability

Which RF modules/chips are used?

NB-IoT sensors use Quectel BC66; LoRa versions use DRF1276G / SX1276.

How accurate is the IoT Parking Sensor in high-turnover bays?

Fleximodo claims 99%+ accuracy, based on extensive testing and proprietary algorithms. The IoT parking sensors “accurately capture every parking event, even in high-traffic areas.

Which connectivity options are supported and how do I verify coverage?

Fleximodo deploys across major LPWANs, including LoRaWAN, Sigfox, NB-IoT, and LTE-M (project pages and use-cases cite these stacks). Coverage is typically validated during scoping/pilots; the product page links to planning tools and datasheets for choosing the right radio.

What is the expected battery life and what affects it?

Up to ~10 years depending on configuration. Battery life varies with message/reporting interval, traffic intensity (number of events), network conditions, and temperature.

About Fleximodo Firmware

How fast do sensors detect and report events?

Two modes: • Standard: ~13 s to prepare the message, plus network time, then sub-second processing. • Ultra-rapid: ~3 s to prepare; designed for high-turnover bays. Mode can be switched per sensor.

Do you provide testing and calibration guides?

Yes—step-by-step testing instructions, a short video, and calibration guides are available on request

Do sensors require physical calibration?

Mini uses a 22 cm reference; Standard uses 25 cm. Hold a flat object at the specified height; calibration completes in ~1 minute.

What firmware variants are available?

Standard, quicker detection (≈2 s), trucks (nanoradar-only), regional LoRa variants, and specialized builds for connectivity scenarios.

About Fleximodo Software (Cloud, APIs, Apps)

Can I pull historical data via the API?

The PULL endpoint returns the current state (and duration). For history, use push/webhooks or request an export from the cloud.

What does the “Low battery” flag mean in the dashboard?

It signals temporary high consumption (often due to weak signal during transmission), not necessarily an empty cell.

How do I use the DiSPO app with sensors?

Install the app, enable Bluetooth and GPS, wake a sensor with a magnet to make it discoverable, then scan/configure it in DiSPO.

What logo formats do you accept for CityPortal branding?

Prefer SVG. Typical max sizes: mobile operator logo 40×90 px, desktop 40×200 px; optional owner logo 28×32 px.

What is ParkingAround?

ParkingAround is a software platform and service layer built on Fleximodo’s IoT hardware and data stack, effectively serving as a Fleximodo-powered smart parking management solution and spin‑off that commercializes sharing, reservations, permits, and monetization features on top of Fleximodo sensors and backend systems.

Can I inspect battery consumption trends?

Yes, via Grafana dashboards (daily events, consumption anomalies). Your contact can provide access.

About Installation & Maintenance

What’s the procedure to check or replace a non-functioning sensor?

Inspect for physical damage, scan the sensor in DiSPO, try a wake (magnet or brief park/unpark). If still unresponsive, swap with a spare and return the unit for analysis.

What sealant/glue and drill size are recommended?

Use an exterior-rated sealant per manufacturer instructions. For Standard (XL) in-ground installs, use core drilling 100–110 mm.

What screws should I use?

• Mini: flat-bottom, A4 stainless, ≤ 6 mm diameter, 40–50 mm length; use metal adapter holes only. • Standard: flat-bottom, A2/A4, ≤ 8 mm diameter, ≥ 60 mm length with suitable anchors.

How is Guidance Signage mounted?

Standard brackets for a 60 mm pole; for wider columns, use banding (e.g., Bandimex).

Any tips for solar displays that were stored for a long time?

Pre-charge via the supplied M8-to-USB cable for 1–6 hours before installation. If the battery is too depleted, follow the official replacement guide.
